So the special Hispanic Heritage Month Recipes look really awesome, the upcharges not so much. So–I just downloaded all 8 of the pdfs and will be purchasing the ingredients at Kroger to make it happen at a rational price. I haven’t eaten them yet, but they all look awesome.
But I wanted to bring them up so you don’t miss them, and list the recipe names so people can find them after the month is over and they’re buried in the main recipe book: If you want to search the HelloFresh cookbook for the pdfs, they’re located here and they are free (no subscription required): [https://www.hellofresh.com/recipes](https://www.hellofresh.com/recipes) and the recipe titles to search for are: (1) Colombian-Style Chicken Stew, (2) Peruvian-Style Lomo Saltado, (3) Mexican-Inspired Calabacitas con Queso, (4) Domincan-Style Bistec Encebollado, (5) Costa Rican-Style Beef Picadillo de Papa, (6) Argentinean-Style Beef Milanesa, (7) Ecuadorian-Style Pescado Encocado, and (8) Cuban-Style Pollo a la Plancha. Most people are reporting high upcharges for them–but if you can get them without an upcharge, go for it.
It looks like a great series for “Intro to Latin American Cooking” that looks much more authentic than the typical HF fusion tacos.
The only proprietary blends are Fry Seasoning (1pt garlic powder, 1pt onion powder, 1pt paprika) and Fajita Seasoning (4 pt paprika, 1 pt onion powder, 1 pt garlic powder, 1 pt chili powder, 1 pt cumin, 1 pt oregano). I just approximately shake some spices in and don’t really measure it out, and I don’t have onion powder so I just skip that.
