A refreshing Greek meze or dip, this homemade Tzatziki is easy to make and goes great with grilled meats and pita bread. A must for any barbecue.
A creamy dip with a hint of garlic and dill and a refreshing addition of shredded cucumber makes Tzatziki one of my favourite dips.
A bowlful of tzatziki with some torn up pita bread and a few veggies = a creamy, delicious, Summer lunch!

yeah i love tzatziki i make it all the time, have it with my flatbreads and my egg breakfast with a little chorizo every so often too 🙂
Yeah I'm off to the shop in the morning for the ingredients after work. Looks lush. Hope I don't have to……cue up lol.
Great recipe. I'll be giving this a try. Thanks.
Very refreshing 👍
i love your recipes
Looks great…if you don't have vinegar use lemon juice.
Dill, cukes and lemon go well.
If you don't have dill, I'd use mint.
The mint and vinegar go well.
Great on lamb or pork.
Quick tip (from a Scot living in Greece for 40 years). Add some EVOO before mixing, gives the tzatziki a lovely subtle smooth flavour.
having this tonight with the chicken gyros
The Z isn't silent, it's Tzatziki not Tat-Ziki. At least double the garlic, preferably 2 cloves, you need to be able to taste it. And WTF sugar? NO NO NO NO NO! My γιαγιά would come back from the dead to haunt me if I even thought of putting sugar in a Tzatziki!
