Who doesn’t love a good shrimp pasta recipe with lots of garlic, wine , butter? Who says you have to go out to dinner for this dish? Now you can make this at home.

This seafood dish is so simple and easy to make, you’ll wonder why you haven’t made it before!

Some people have asked me if you can substitute the wine for something else like chicken broth. I don’t recommend it, as I think it’s the wine along with everything else (butter, garlic, lemon, parsley, onion) that really makes this dish.

== Ingredients ==
– 16 large shrimp
– olive oil
– 3/4 cup white wine
– 5 to 6 cloves of garlic, finely, finely minced
– 6 Tbsp. butter
– 1/4 cup or more of fresh chopped parsley
– 1 green onion thinly sliced
– 1/2 lemon juiced
– salt to taste
– 6 oz. of Pasta, cooked

== Directions ==
Defrost and remove the shell from the shrimp. Devein it if you need to. Heat your frying pan over medium heat, add some olive oil (about a tablespoon or so) and butter. When the butter has melted and is bubbling, add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add the shrimp to the pan as well as the onion and wine. Next add the lemon juice and the parsley. Turn over the shrimp as it turns pink. Shrimp should only take about 5 to 6 minutes to cook.

Serve over pasta or rice for dinner. Add a nice salad with some good french bread and dinner will be amazing. Oh and don’t forget a nice glass of wine. It’s amazingly good.

  1. Someone suggested putting the pasta directly into the pan, the problem with that is you soak up all the sauce, if I do that I always take a little of the sauce out for pouring over the pasta. This way you have some sauce to dip the Italian bread in…. But it is delicious… Thanks Robin

  2. Made this for my girlfriend and I it turned out delicious can never have enough of that garlic butter sauce so good

  3. This looks delicious thank you for showing us how to cook shrimp really well with a nice sauce with lemon, spring onion and garlic!

  4. No definitely not buying frozen shrimp over fresh is there definite no no I have done it many times but it's so much better when it's fresh the texture is difference and to be honest with you when you have frozen fish it hold a lot of water and that makes cooking with it kind of difficult and it messes up recipes But just because it's frozen does it mean it was done right away The only way to get truly fresh sea food is off the boat at a high quality seafood market or go fishing n cat u it on the sore
