When I visited Montreal I had the best falafel, it was chock full of fresh herbs and hummus and falafel balls of course. Its different than the more Lebanese style I’m used to finding in shops here. Any suggestions for spots like Yoni in town? pic: https://www.instagram.com/p/CwVGpvFrleF/

Second the ones listed already. Parallel don’t do a falafel pita tho.

Try Tov Li or many of the kosher Jewish places around Bathurst and Finch.

I remember the Falafel at Dr. Laffa as being pretty good.

I think in Toronto it’s less about the difference between Israeli vs Lebanese styles and more about who makes good falafel in general.

Both styles should be packed with fresh herbs. From my understanding the main difference between types of falafel based on region is the spice blend and if something other than chickpeas are used (like fava beans in Egypt for example).
