    270 g granulated sugar
    4 eggs
    2 egg yolks
    400 g milk
    400 g heavy cream 35%
    1 pinch salt
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    450 g phyllo dough sheet
    150 g butter
    1 tablespoon dark brown soft sugar
    2 tablespoons icing sugar
    1 tablespoon cinnamon

  3. Do you make the Orange cake (Pie) with the dried pieces of phylo in it? Had some in Greece a couple of years ago. Yummy! This looks good as well!

  4. I tryed to make this and used puff pastry 😂I recommend you dont do that its not gonna give you what you want

  7. Hi Akis, I've made this twice and the custard turned out watery again (even after cooling overnight). Are you sure it needs another 20-25minutes? Because I had to continue baking it at least another 20 mins more, to make the custard thick.
