Sorry for not so amazing photo. Also I know everyone loves this place already but figured I would post for the lovers of this fine establishment. Cooked medium rare which is so juicy and amazing and holy shit does it have a kick. Also served with a pickle (not pictured)

That Amarillo burger is one of my favorite burgers in town. The peppers will have a kick again tomorrow.

I’ve never liked this place and it’s because the cook on their burgers is so inconsistent. I thought I was going crazy with all the recommendations here but I figured it all out just now: you people have no clue what the fuck medium rare is.
That left side is medium well and that ride side is somewhere in between medium and medium well. That is a horribly cooked burger. Not only is it two different temps on two different sides, NONE of it is how you actually ordered it. Google medium rare burger and none of them look like that thing.
All I’ll say is Frap has been moved to Casino Southside

Looks good but I have a problem with more bread than beef.
That top bun is a thick one. Too thick. I’d toss the bun in the bin and eat the burger like an open sandwich. Hold the fries. Too much bread. All the toppings, cheese, should go on the bottom bun as a result. That burger patty is proper thick.
Pitts Burger is my favorite.

It’s the best burger in Austin. The pic doesn’t do it justice. It’s insane.
My go to is the Chicago but just had the LA the other day and damn that was good too. Don’t sleep on their special burgers either, they’re always slappin.

That’s either a photo gone wrong or that bun is one of the worst attempts at anything baked I’ve ever seen. Always heard good things about this place but that pic just meant I’ll never ever try one.
Was the person who cut it blind? Did the baker forget to let it rest? The bottom is a grease sponge and the top is a cake
Search Port of Call in New Orleans for how to properly do a thick burger. Casino seems to be a classic Austin draw that just doesn’t do it right. A damn shame
