Kebab is Turkish !
Pork should be cooked much longer, even if you use vinegar
White wine vinegar….. sounds good. I have a similar recipe but red wine and lemon juice then marinade.
Kebap böyle yapılmaz
Telegenic…but not going to taste great.
If only YouTube premium let you taste this delicious cuisines online 😋
could I use lamb or beef or chicken. I want to do the pork but I want to share this with some people who are muslim, and some who don't want to be eating Suzy Sheep
I actually can't wait to go back to Greece after lockdown here in Australia. Greek people have go to be a very strong and prided culture of people. Direct and down to earth no bullshit aside. They tell you what they think, they are happy to help you, they are hospitable, they do not care who you are, you are always welcome. The children of most Greek people are mature and respectful of elderly people, help their neighbors like no tomorrow. The Greeks are also very intelligent, I mean the foundations of mathematics and science comes from there. They are all about family and helping each other. Thats why even though they had an economic crisis, they survive, because they know how! I love the Greeks they are by far my favourite people and I have visited over 80 countries.
I don't speak english.
Hi Akis😀 I'm from the Philippines🇸🇽 I really love to watch how you cook. I tried it and we love it so much😍😋
no oregano ?
I'm trying this but with chicken. I couldn't get pork tenderloin. Or the skewers. So now I've got a bottle of Pinot Grigio I didn't need. What am I going to do with it now?
One point of note. I had to go to Lidl for my ingredients. They have no pork tenderloin. No pitta bread. So having to improvise with enchiladas
Also. I couldn't grill on a barbecue so had to fry. It wasn't great. The chicken was almost ok. But ttszatziki. That was good
New to cooking here, what herbs did he put on it at the end? He says fresh herbs but which ones?
thanks
It looks so delicious. Thank you for this context. Love from Turkey. ❤️
Food porn is the worst when you are hungry
The Greeks, who pride themselves on not being from the Middle East, say that doner kebab is a Greek dish.
lol
I'm on my way Akis!!!
You said "Grease" proof paper, but I accidentally bought "Greece" proof paper, so I couldn't wrap my Souvlaki..
sagapo akis
Just followed Akis's recipe. It's tastes so authentic! Better than restaurants! This is the recipe you want to keep! Subbed, liked, and commented!
I love Akis
o my god it looks so good
Wow he didn’t screw up
As a Greek, this was a discrage! Dishonour on you! Dishonour on your cow! Shame on you Aki. This pita was dryer than the beach you were on. Also, only thyme and rosemary???? No!
At 6:43 into it the old man in a speedo sitting down behind him.🤣
Back in the day I used to deploy to Athens Greece a lot. We were set up in a hotel in an area called Kavori. The hotel was on the beach and was called the Apollon Palace. Not bad for the military eh! Anyways, there was this little stand about half a block down the beach and all they had were souvlaki. They were the yummiest thing ever! If you ate one you ate six that good! I have nothing but glowing remarks for Greece and its wonderful people. I miss going to the Placa to shop and the night life in Glyfada (spell correct, IDK.) Mid to late 80's was a great time.
I thank you for this recipe. I will try to make the pita bread and the sauce, and I hope to get it right!
Thank f*ck he didn't open a Greek restaurant! 🤣🤣 He ruined the Italians.
kebab is better
I like how he forgot the fries
Why no patates inside in. Suvlaki
Akis eating souvlaki, so charming, made my day
oh…I could'nt find the part when the bread was made…..cheap and nasty
