Pro chef Frank Proto and home cook Beth are swapping their recipes and ingredients before hitting the kitchen to make some BBQ chicken. We provided Beth with everything necessary to make chef Frank’s eye-popping $203 chicken recipe, sending only $17 worth of materials back the other direction. Will Frank elevate Beth’s more modest materials into something gourmet? Can Beth keep up with the demands of Frank’s ingredients list?

  1. I've been going through a lot over the last few weeks, and this video actually got me to smile for the first time in a while, and it was a wholesome smile. These two interacting is awesome!

  2. yes to the alabama white sauce as an alabama native!!! miles superior to regular bbq sauce when it comes to poultry in my opinion

  3. Alabama White Sauce is so great. I hadn't heard of it before I visited a friend in Alabama lol. Ever since then, I've had to explain to my west coast friends that it's not gravy. Also I'm a cheapo and just buy a bbq sauce and then add to it based on how I feel that day. Feel like it lasts longer and is more adjustable than making an entire pot.

Beth is adorable how she explains her thought processes.

  4. Can we change it to where they have to make it with only what they have without adding anything

  5. I love how Frank has been a pro chef for like, a million years and still asks Beth if his food is okay. So sweet ❤
