This place is brand new, about a block north of Pedroso’s. There was a chicken truck of some sort here previously. I’m normally not a food truck person, but I was riding by and noticed they had some interesting looking burritos and decided to stop in. It turns out that the owner is the former manager of the North Lamar Taco Shack, and although the menu does share some notes with Taco Shack, the execution is an order of magnitude better.
Chyngon is open every day for breakfast and lunch. I hope they are successful and find a brick and mortar location some day.

Looking forward to the new place opening up at the old Taco Shack on Spicewood Springs. Good riddance to that place. With tax at $4.65 those breakfast tacos are pretty pricey. Were the burritos big?
Oh no. It’s a block north of pedroso’s? I can walk to predrosos. My diet did not need this so close.
Where on Burnet Road, if I may ask?
