I love it
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Less is more!
I live learning from people that know how to survive and live a good life. We’re too soft now. I keep learning how to do things the traditional way. We may need this information at some point and it’ll be nice to know before we need it.
This process is Texas heat approved
This women is a National Treasure and must be protected at all costs
She’s absolutely adorable!!! I love women like her!!! Omg she talks about the wipe ride!! I remember the wipe ride 😊 a man came around our neighborhood in a truck with the wipe ride in the back and threw us bazooka bubble gum 😂❤

Nowadays they have all these accommodations and they’re still squawking. Love it, rip Clara
I like listening to the stories.
Why can't you make both lemon and vanilla?
My gram didn’t have freezers etc. 🙏. There was 5 kids. They got handed down shoes with sole holes and put cardboard and wood in the bottom to make el last
I remember when I was a kid, there was a hotdog place around the block. Nothing I wanted more than a hotdog, fries, and an italian ice from that place. I think it was called Relish the Dog.
Precious!
12 years ago?!?! :,(
Love this video and how Clara talks about the past and being happier. That is the truth when foods were made from scratch and that's how I make foods today. Her video was so happy and homey. Thank you
My husband says that there are too many choices nowadays! Simplicity is actually really great!
I will definitely make this. Thanks.
She wasn't a Jew so everybody can be happy.
Making this tomorrow. It's so stinking hot this summer.
Bkess her Haert dont grt them like this anymore ❤❤
I grew up without air conditioning in central Florida… The first time I saw an A/C in a house I was 14… I remember those hot summer nights with a wet washcloth on my forehead. Ya, we're definitely more pampered than ever and people still complain. SMH
❤❤❤❤❤
Awesome video and cool lady. Good job YouTube suggestions. For once !
I haven't watched a Clara video for a couple years and she popped up today
I just had to watch her! It's like being away from home for a long time and then you go home. It was so good to watch video today
Actually, that would be “Granita”.
With skyrocketing prices of everything here in the United States, this wisdom from a generation past will be needed
They were poor, but they were happy because back then children were grateful and appreciative. These last couple of generations are nothing but entitled little f#ckers
😏WHAT A LADY! (PEOPLE APPRECIATED WHAT THEY HAD) EVEN WHEN IT WAS CLOSE TO NOTHING …RIP MISS. CLARA 🌹
Clara’s statement about how little they had, but how happier they were than people are today, is so true. Too many people today have forgotten what’s truly important.
12 years later and I’m still watching Clara. Miss you.
Here I am watching this video just shy of what would be Miss Clara’s 108th birthday. So happy early heavenly birthday Miss Clara.❤
My nephew's birthday is 8/18 as well
Sweet lady she’s very wise ❤god bless her
Happy birthday😢 you are missed😔😔
Rip you lovely lady
People don’t care or respect the elderly like when I was young. As little kids we would walk almost a mile to visit with one sweet old lady. It made her day. But kids don’t give the elderly the time of day. It’s also a much different time in the world. It’s hard to know who you can trust.
Oh how I miss Clara, her recipes and her videos.
Is there a significance to her owl cookie jar?
"Happier then than we are now". Stuff definitely doesn't make happiness. I'm enjoying this!
Love this woman ♥️
Use to make this all the time as a wee one with my Granny.
"This is very easy even a 95 year old can do it"♥️
