One weekend, around $100 of ingredients.
We made: whole tomatoes, tomato juice, red pepper jelly, spicy red peppers in vinegar, blueberries in a honey syrup, salsa roja and ketchup.
Also for the freezer: froze a ton of corn, made veg stock, and roasted red peppers.
Adding this to my stash from earlier this year: tomato sauce, pizza sauce, apricot jam, service berries in honey syrup and red currant jelly.
Ready for winter! I had a baby this year, so I’m only doing smaller batches of my favorite recipes. Most recipes from Canning for a New Generation by Liana Krissoff and Marissa McClellan’s books (food in jars).
