Really delicious meal. Expensive but great for a special occasion Japanese experience.

This place is excellent. Chef cares so much about the rice, a detail too many overlook. Pretty sure he took a few years off to start a rice farm in like Uruguay.

Place was excellent, but also one of the most expensive meals of my life.

i’m not really sure why, but i’m so drawn to the rice. it looks insane. is it made with a special grain / rice seasoning / cooking method to give it that color?

Super generous with the sushi as well. Asking if there’s anything we liked and making that again for us. Plus the amazing sake that you can pair with the meal. I’d love to go back.

I must be eating sushi wrong. How are you supposed to eat this? One big bite or do you try to bite the sushi in half, because that usually goes poorly. I feel like sushi places keep putting longer and bigger sushi on every bite, and I’m all for getting my moneys worth, but I also don’t want to be stuck with a piece of sushi I’m forced to unsuccessfully bite in half.
