  1. Anyone ever try this with precooked bacon bits? How would that hydrate back into this dish? Looking for one less dirty pan on a weekday night.

  2. The cauloflower is waaaay too hard with just 4 minutes. Leave it some more, it ruined the whole thing for me

  3. Tried to make this. However, I did not have cream, so I used chicken bone broth. Also, I did not have bacon, so I fried up a couple slices of bologna. I added broccoli to the cauliflower. I steamed them instead of boiling. Lastly, I used black pepper I stead of cayenne because I wanted to be able to eat it non-spicy or spicy.

  4. Making this right now.. I'll report back. Have to add bacon bits though because I don't have any bacon at the moment unfortunately

  5. Tried it today so good, but i added more water to the ban instead of heavy cream, just to save some calories.

  6. I just made this and it was ridiculously delicious and easy. I’m probably gonna make this once a week for the foreseeable future. I toasted some garlic at the beginning of the sauce part and added a pinch of basil and used some chicken stock to thin the sauce a bit.

  7. Doesn't all the nutritional value of the cauliflower get thrown out in the boiling water? I would rather steam the cauliflower instead of boiling it .

  9. ive been craving mac n cheese and this is so satisfying ! i used a bag of instant cauliflower and oo boy aint it good ! i followed madeline blatts advice and added garlic poweder and onion powder and it came out delicious. give this recipe a try if you havent already 🙂

  11. Mkay, this was amazing. I added extra cheese on top and then broiled it in the oven for 10 min or so and got the cheese nice and charcoaled on the top. Next time, I will probably add butter with the cream and cheese, it helps make a better consistency rue/sauce.

    Thanks for the amazing dish! Obsessed with cooking now. So weird. Lol
