These when finished sit on a basement shelf. I’ve never had any problems. Curious to the thoughts of people with experience.

Oof. There’s a lot of simple and tested pickled pepper recipes that are easy, I’d just toss this version and use one of them instead. Just water bath can them, this is unsafe.

Ball has a safe and tested [recipe](https://www.ballmasonjars.com/blog?cid=home-style-pickled-jalapenos). I have not tried it but it sounds interesting.
