There’s a place near me called Jungle Jim’s. They have a bottle of Blair’s 16 Million Reserve. Last I checked it’s like $3000 dollars.

Guessing it’s mediocre at best as well. I can’t really think of any worthwhile changes that could justify a ‘premium’/expensive hot sauce; there isn’t any pepper equivalent to wagyu beef that’s appreciably tastier than what’s readily available already. Truff attempted it with the novelty of adding truffles but they aren’t even particularly good.
There’s scarce collector stuff like the numbered Blair’s reserves with the fancy bottles that can fetch high prices, but the sauces themselves aren’t anything special from what I’ve read.

What was that one pretentious hot sauce someone linked here before that was really expensive and came in the really bougie boxed flask or whatever? It had a bunch of smug marketing about how embarrassing it was to pull out a normal hot sauce bottle in front of the corporate bigshots at the fancy expensive steakhouse or whatever but their over the top bottle would be totally classy. I tried looking for it but I’m having trouble finding it now.
