My province (I live in Canada) has new regulations that allow people to sell homemade food, and I’m unsure if the “foods with controlled properties” section is referring to canned foods. Or if it’s simply saying ph and water content for added safety and still need to be refrigerated?
Butttt it also says multiple times in article that these regulations are for non refrigerated items tho.
I’m just wondering if with the ph and water content regulations, will it be safe no matter what recipe? Cause it also doesn’t specify it needs to be a tested recipe (although I assume it does) and if it is a tested recipe, how are people able to sell it ? Are they not patented ?
Not sure if anyone on here will know the answer but I’d thought I’d give it a try 🤷🏼♀️
