Worst case scenario you get stomach cramps that last like 6-8hrs

Typically how hot are these ratings? I guess also including the “somewhere else’s”
I comfortably cap out at around habanero level – so I think maybe based on this ranking it would be “mild – medium”?

Give Lao hot a try if you really want to feel it…

I would try to provoke them by asking if there was anything hotter than Thai spicy

Honestly: This has Flanders Chili “Daddy, are you going to jail” vibes to it.
I’ve often found places with over-the-top heat scales aren’t truly brining it or just use way too much vinegar.
Just give me a frickin Zero to 5 scale.

From anecdotal experience with proper Thai food.. just go with the hot 😂

Pfft.. the ‘hell’ level is moderate to adequate usually.
I only once ordered wings from a bar in Atlanta that was their hottest (nuclear or atomic or something like that)… and it actually melted my face. I had a red ring around my lips after a couple of wings. I couldn’t even finish it, which was really surprising (to me).
Typically though the ‘hottest’ is usually OK. I managed to find a Thai place whose Thai hot actually is good enough I don’t have to add additional heat, which is awesome.

Spiciest meal I’ve gotten was from a Thai restaurant. I ordered the highest spice level probably 3 or 4 times before they actually gave it to me.

It’ll only mess you up for a few days.
