  1. I love how you actually use a lot of vegetables. Most recepies have a lot of meat and pasta and practicly no veggies.

  2. When my dad's garden grows more I'll make this! 🙂 It looks amazing! Thank you for the recipe!

  3. exactly !… enjoy life people! live a little! do not take away the good stuff that make food delicious. Just don't use too much, too often.

  4. Hey Chef John! The best green pasta you can make is the one we make in Mexico with chiles poblanos. Incredibly delicious ! Look for the recipe and make it on your show.

  5. no, you probably got it confused with pickles, pickles are cucumbers that are soaked in a vinegar mixture 😛

  6. Thank you, Chef John.  I just made this, and it's wonderful!  I'm definitely serving this at parties.  Besides, we're eating more greens and I'm collecting a new bunch of recipes.  This one definitely makes the cut.  Love your channel and recipes!

  8. I skipped the part where you fry the leeks, instead I upped the amount of garlic and add some fava beans to this to really increase the protein while still keeping healthful

  9. I just made this dish. It took a bit of effort, but completely worth it. Your recipes are on par with any fine restaurant.

  10. Awesome love it
For more environment friendly and health put nutrition East on the pasta instead of cheese

  11. Olive oil is it good for you. What is supposed to be good about it? The calories that only come from fat because all the nutrients are stripped out of it during the processing? The amount of artery clogging saturated fat?

  12. From this end of the world (Middle East) l follow you. I'm a good cook, hence my added appreciation. I find that you have the gift of simplicity. You take complicated dishes and simplify them. Nothing lost in the transition. While you occasionally do it, I would like you to do more middle eastern food. There is treasure trove of culinary delights here. It certainly can use your touch.

  13. Very nice recipe, although my version is not as nice looking, i like to use spinach fettucine or fettucini agi spinachi, same thing, it is alot of green so i use yellow bell peppers sauteed into the other vegetables, is delicious.

  14. Thank Chef John! This looks sooo goood! Nice way to get my greens in 🙂
Made it and I added some red pepper flakes and oregano to jazz it up. I had to put a bit more salt as I added the veggies. Couldn’t find a leek, so I used a white onion.

  15. This may be the best recipe I’ve ever made. I put aluminum foil over the bowel and let it rest for three hours. Absolutely wonderful! Thank you.
