Citrus infused olive oil is easy to whip up and makes a great gift for the cook in your life.

Simmer olive oil, orange peel and lemon peel for 20-30 minutes over very low heat. Remove peels, transfer into a sterilized bottle.

  1. Looks great. I never thought of the citrus flavor. I infuse Rosemary from my R. bush in the yard. I rinse the dust off of a few sprigs and do the same thing you do with the citrus. YUM! xo

  2. Would these spoil in less than a week? or do they last awhile? not sure what's the difference between this process and buying the flavored ones at homegoods…

  3. Mind that this way u get an unhealthy olive oil. Once u heat it up it looses most if not all of its goodness.

All money received will go toward a LOMI countertop composter. With all the cooking I do for these videos, there is a lot of food trim and scraps. I'd love to offset the amount of waste with a Lomi, made by @Pela Earth To learn more about it, click here: https://youtu.be/X7P6WKKFL08

  5. 🤔 I’m unclear. Do u simmer on low for 20 min or do u place the peel in simmering oil then remove off burner and let it sit for 20? Thx!

  6. Beautiful! Do you use regular olive oil or extra virgin olive oil?

  7. i stopped 10 seconds in. why are all the olive oil infusion videos have the volume on 0 if theyre talking, or volume is on 10 with those weak ass videos with captions and only hands playing the worst music
