  1. I've never heard of farro. My wife came home with a bag today, said she bought it on a wim. Your video was very informative & I can't wait to try it! Thank you.

  2. I got whole grain Farro from Amazon all it said on the bag was add 1 c farro per 3 cups of water. Boil 30 minutes and drain. It came out really good 🙂

  3. 2022 summer I have farro and didn’t know how to prep it and I have no idea Variety it is so I will just cook it until it seems cooked. Hoping to have it for adding to salads especially but I’ll check your ideas also bc I was gifted a big bag of it.

  4. I purchased a 40lb bag from Bluebird Farms in Oregon. It is the whole Emmer wheat grain. I have never gotten any cooking method to produce anything other than a dense, chewy product. Pressure cooker same result. Latest attempt is in rice cooker, 5 to 1 water to grain with 6hr soak. I will know this evening. Plopped in a whole head of garlic with salt and pepper.

  5. I was wondering if anyone has experimented with doing farro in a curry-style dish, some curries are done with rice but I am wondering if farro would be a suitable replacement for that. any comments appreciated!

  6. Cooked cooled farro, diced English cucumber, cherry tomato, mini multi colored peppers, feta cheese, kalamata olives, Ken's Caesar dressing. Yum.

  7. I use farro as a hot cereal because I don't like oatmeal or cream of wheat. I cook it with almond milk in place of water and cook it according to the directions on the package. Once it's done, I add a little bit of maple syrup and fresh blueberries. 😋😊

  8. I tried making Farro, I like it very much! I'm so appreciative of Dani's information and quick video's on the 101- I'm new to much of this! Her video's make it all possible for me to try these new grains, I'm very thankful for her posts!! Thank you Dani! 💕💕😊😊

  9. I'm glad I googled and found this. Thank you. I loved that. I'm going to buy Farro. Gluten doesn't seem to be good for me but I'll try it because it's good for my belly fat weight loss. 👍🏾

  10. Little known fact, farro is actually not originally Italian. It is an ancient Egyptian grain imported from Egypt to Rome to feed the masses

  11. I had Farro once and loved it ! I found it at Trader joes ! It’s the Pearl farro which cooks fast . I finally had to face the music to my high cholesterol and borderline A1c so I need to really be on diet and watch what I eat. Now I thought a farro right away. Maybe it can replace my love for white rice 😅 Thanks so much for the recipes ! I am gonna try !
