Been wanting to try this classic Pittsburgh staple for a long time now! Ended up going with the capicola & cheese plus an egg. Overall pretty tasty sandwich! Not the biggest vinegar slaw guy so there’s that. Also was a bit dry (with bread + fries) so added mayo and used some hot sauce too. Definitely did enjoy it but won’t be something I crave or continue to go back for super often…

Hot sauce is a must!
I find that most first timers make the mistake of going as-is and find it a bit bland. The hot sauce just kicks it up the notch that it needs
