Has anyone experienced a puffy shrimp bag before? Should I be concerned or let customer care know?
I’ve never experienced this before, and I’ve learned through the years of cooking that any kind of puffy raw bag of anything can signal bacteria growth but I’m also wondering if I’m being too paranoid.
My box was shipped and delivered today, and everything was perfectly cold when delivered, no signs that it was sitting all melty somewhere (I live in Texas so it takes very little sitting for things to get melty).

It’s bad … notify them & get refund
Ive also just discovered that they ship the meats frozen … so if it’s only cold and not frozen, then that’s even more sus.
Thanks all!! I went ahead and notified and got a refund for the shrimp only, which I’m fine with. You can never be too careful and it’s cheaper for me to throw this out and re-buy shrimp than it is to go to the ER for getting sick!
