Today we are going to make caramel apples covered in chopped peanuts, one of my favorite childhood fall snacks but they are so much better homemade. I’ve screwed up caramel many times before but today I’m sharing a foolproof caramel recipe courtesy of Sally’s Baking Addiction’s (https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/homemade-caramel-apples/)

The heck with the apples, I want to go straight to the chocolate bars
Dang dude you’re killing me. I love caramel and apples and the peanuts take it over the top.
I always cut them when they are finished it's annoying to eat them right off the stick.
Awesome video.
Never knew the exact caramel levels by temp.
I have made my caramel with condensed milk instead of cream.
Could be worth a try – really would be ideal for this recipe.
Also TEMPER (melt in stages) your chocolate – so you get that glossy smooth finish.
Enjoy!
I love a good caramel apple dis time a year!! – DJ PAULY D
This video about caramel apples was WAY more informative than I was expecting. Solid job
I knew i wasn't going to make caramel apples anyways and just watching for fun until i saw those bars
This is not the hard crack I’ve been doing all these years…
Between 10:49 and 10:50 it is obvious, that 3 chunks of peanut did not stick to the apple and fell down. This information is not really useful and i made this random comment just to document my sharp observation skills …
💚💚💚💚💚Caramel apple green peanut's snicker;s candy coated 😋😋😋🍏🍏🍏💚💚💚💚
wait so the apples aren't even cooked? thats so odd
I always said no peanuts on my sundae. lol. I love peanut butter, but can't stand raw peanuts.
Awesome
Great job!
OMG I must try this!! You said payday, I saw in your cherry tomato weekday sauce or the spicy weekday sauce with your 2 friends you did the podcast with, you had candy corn in background. Have you tried the payday snack of dry roasted peanuts and candy corn? That also tastes like a payday! I'm gonna try those bars with my extra caramel, maybe if successful, I will sell at farmers market along with my other goodies!!! Also, friend and I discussing food truck, so about to binge your food truck videos! We are in smaller, rural town and thinking of a "Walking Taco" truck! Have lots of factories here so opportunity for multiple shift selling!!! Thanks bub, ❤ Kristy in Missouri 😊
Kristy again (lol) have you tried caramel apple shots using the granny smith apples? YUM-O! Would love to see your take on that!
Is it just me or he looks like Jesse Wellens
Another childhood fav of mine!!!! ❤️ you are talking my old language! I haven’t had one since my teens.
I’m new here! Love love the name of the channel!!
I love it when an American chef pronounced the word "caramelise" correctly. It gives me hope for this crazy world…
Would this work if I tried dipping some pears ?
If you have a hard time finding the sticks I find that chopsticks from a fast food Chinese restaurant work great. They are also a little more substantial so they don’t bend that’s easy
Hot water ruins the texture of the apple makes it mushy
(“O my God ! McDonald’s stop putting peanuts on the Sundays !”) 😂 hilarious Because he’s just so serious
That doesn't get hot enough to caramelize sugar. It's basically brown sugar sauce. Oh, and, mid-roll ads suck. Thumbs down.

What does keeps have to do with candy apples?
Can I use something else than corn Sirup?
Hey there. I like your video. Very informative and entertaining. I don't dig peanuts but I love carmel apples. I'm looking for the right recipe to do mine because for some darn reason the dip falls off. But I so do love them. Thank you for your video!!! Great job!😊 Karo syrup definitely helps to harden the apples.
Where did you get your candy thermometer? I can't find one.
