This is one of the best fried rice recipes I have, and everyone I’ve ever made it for have been just over the moon about how delicious it is. Fresh pineapple, juicy shrimp, aromatic curry powder…Yum!

  2. I loved the way she did this video.
It felt very personal, clear and detailed.

Hopefully, I will find other videos from her with this format.

  3. Hi Pailin, I have a silly question. Is this a popular Thai dish? I always thought it was cooked up and served to tourists.

  4. Pun oppurtunity missed … When talking about the pineapple: ''Fresh if you can, canned if you can't'' Was already satisfying though/

  5. i didn’t see you add the wet seasonings, when should you do that? also canada? tee naiii na kaa?! i’m vancouver 💖

  10. That's ok I don't like raisins too LOL. But I use dried cranberries if I do want raisins in my food. Thank you for this video. I love Thai food especially different fried rice dishes.

  11. Hi there
I recently started following your recipes. Could you please tell if can substitute shrimp paste with knorr shrimp cubes?
    It'd really help… Thanks you

  12. Hello Khun Pai, In your grocery store or supermarket look for canned pineapple in the generic section. Look on the back of the can and on the label there there be 2 kinds, one from Indonesia or one from Thailand. The Thailand one has NO SUGAR ADDED so has that little bit of tartness we all love.

  13. I tried today and it came out good. its gonna be in my menu now since I have stop eating meat since September

  14. I love watching you cook. A friend of mine and co-worker who is battling cancer asked me today if the fried rice I cooked two days ago turned out good. Then he told me his favorite is Hot Thai Pineapple fried rice, and I told him I would prepare it for him.I'm sure he's going to love it. Thank You so much. I will prepare it like you showed us.

  15. My main issue when Asians cook rice on youtube is they cook so little. Who are we kidding? The average Asian is either eating a ton of it for days or sharing it. I feel like cooking it as you would and not for your audience will make it truly authentic

  16. I am so glad I came across your channel. You are one of the best cooking channels on Youtube as you give detailed instructions and really good tips. Thank you!

  17. My husband introduced me to his favorite fried rice from his favorite Thai restaurant he sometimes goes to for lunch. And I’ve been addicted ever since! And I wanted to try and make some for myself and I came across your channel last week and since then I’ve made it 3x’s! This is one of the best fried rice dishes I’ve taste thus far. I loved it!

  18. I like how the Thai words for pineapple fried rice is explained.
    Kao = Rice

Would be cool to have more Thai words explained.
Learn Thai food plus Thai language. 👍

  19. Thank you! I made two changes. I stir fried the shrimp in butter and I added Thai Basil at the end. It’s a wonderful dish. It blew me away!
