Hola, great tasty dish … greetings from Tom
So not all Hummus has tahini! Yes itβs very common ingredient in hummus but itβs also the most expensive as well! Maybe next time just mention why you choose not to use an ingredient Sorry I was reading some of the comments left here but awesome job looked great and great use of the ingredients π€―
delicious πππ
tahini gives it an extra smoothminess

Thanks for the shout out for the Texas olive oil. π I been there a few times. I live in Central Texas.
Last and only time I made hummus from scratch, I ground the garbanzo beans by hand with a wooden spoon. Took a lot of work but it wasn't too bad

Tahini is a premium priced product here and so a "no tahini hummus" recipe is a great idea. I also have to thank you for suggesting peanut butter as a – sort of – tahini substitute. Muchas gracias. One request – can you show a yemas recipe one day? I was travelling around Spain in the mid-80's and in Castille-LaMancha we splurged on a Parador one night and tasted this "local speciality" for desert. Never saw it again anywhere :-(.
Great recipe. Looks delicious. I will try it. Thanks.
Foe those who think humus is spanish, well you're wrong πππ
