Love your dishes, so simple but elegant.
My grocery store had some nice looking fresh green beans yesterday so I picked up a bag and the first thought I had was to make this. I love Greek food.
OMG forgive me ,this is my favourite of the favourite one of the summer dish ever!Very healthy and very delicious,my stomach’s best friend,my whole family love this dish !!!❤️❤️❤️
"What you've done is amazing." Thank you Dimitra. That's a direct quote from my son. We all flipped over this dish.
Just the recipe inspiration I needed! I was looking for a recipe with beans and potatoes, and this is perfect!
Thanks for sharing such a beautiful recipes 🙏
Great, thank you!
My grandma used to make green beans and new potatoes in a peppery, buttery cream sauce. Of course she was not Greek but she paired them together in the spring. I have never cooked with dill, I wonder if my two Greek guys will enjoy it!
My Yiayia used to make this when something quick was needed. She’d send our papou to the garden and it was so yummy! We cook it now and brings back such lovely memories! Bless you Demitra❤️‼️
Yuuuuuuuum!
A friend of mine had made this and brought some over for me. She'd cooked chicken thighs with it. It was delicious. But I'm going to cook your version, Dimitra, without chicken. But one thing – can we use frozen green beans instead? I will look up your recipe now to see if you've mentioned frozen green beans. And when I cook it, I will upload a photo of it. Many thanks, Dimitra. Love your recipes.
excellent excellent excellent 😍
I miss my mom's cooking. I think she may have also used bay leaves.
Φασουλακια το καλύτερο φαγητό .
How many ounces are the tomatoes and how many pounds of green beans do you use.
Where are you from? And where are you living?I love φασολακια λαδερα!Greetings from Thessaloniki.
I am not a fan of green beans, but this dish may convert me!

Hi Dimitra,
Is there a printed recipe option on this platform, I can’t seem to find it if it is an option?
Am going to have my first go at this recipe tonight, thank you for the video 👍
I can taste it from here 😭
My papu would always make this for me. And I really want to learn how to do it so I can have some again and share with others how delicious it is 🥹 the only difference is he would have beef to it a very tender juicy beef 😭 but man just looking at this I can literally taste it
I love how you say “you can add a little……. Or a lot” 🤣
My dad loved it. He said „it tastes like a grandma dish“ 😂😍 cozy, healthy and delicious
My favorite Greek meal. I will make it for dinner. It looks delicious. Thank you for this great recipe, and yes Feta on the side. Yasou
Sounds like something I would love. I would just add a big squeeze of fresh lemon.
Just stumbled across this and it brought back so many memories! Question: I had to attend to something and was I interrupted between steps 3 (covered braising) and 4 (uncovered reducing). Will I be OK taking the pot off the heat, leaving it covered, and resuming w step 4 ( reducing at high heat uncovered) in 90 minutes? Thanks again, will be investigating your other recipes!
