DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven at 350°F (180°C) 2. In a bowl, cream together 3/4 cup (185g) salted butter, 1 1/2 cup (300g) brown sugar, 1 tsp almond extract, and 2 tsp vanilla extract 3. Whisk in 2 eggs 4. In the same bowl, mix in 1 1/2 cup (204g) flour, and 1/2 tsp salt 5. Stir in optional toppings (I used 1 cup (170g) cut-up butterscotch chocolate bar) 6. Line a 9 x 9 square baking pan with either parchment paper – OR – cooking spray 7. Pour mixture into square baking pan, and smooth out with spatula 1. To limit stickiness, lightly dampen your spatula with some water before smoothing down the mixture 8. Bake the blondies in the oven at 350°F (180°C) for 31 minutes 9. Allow the blondies to cool for a minimum of 20 minutes before munching 10. Enjoy!
