These easy to make caprese skewers are the perfect fit whether for an elegant party or summer barbeque. The addition of the prosciutto and balsamic glaze takes this caprese dish to a new level, giving it that extra little something. They look and taste amazing and won’t last long.

Ingredients:
1 lb Fresh Mozzarella (balls)
2-3 Tbs Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper
1 Bunch Fresh Basil
Prosciutto Slices
Cherry Tomatoes

Toothpicks

Directions:
1. Slice the mozzarella balls into 1/2″ slices, then into 1/2″ cubes and add to a bowl.
2. Drizzle with olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper.
3. Rince a bunch of basil and pull off the leaves, separating out the large ones to cut in half.
4. Take the prosciutto slices and cut them into 1/2″ strips.
5. Rinse the tomatoes and place in a bowl.
6. To assemble, start with a tomato, then add a folded basil leaf, followed by a piece of prosciutto and finished with a mozzarella cube.
7. Arrange on a serving platter and drizzle with a balsamic glaze to finish.
