    Not exactly a quick dish to make at home. There's at least 1.5hrs cooking and prep

  2. eww gross undercooked white hard rice bits tastes like raw flour(like in a bad gravy) plus bad things happen when people eat undercooked rice.

  3. fantastic dish im doing this tonight for a workshop tommorow, im sure tis going to go down a treat, as im adding spinach not rocket and tasty cheese, and seasoning of salt vrs pepper if u aint got seasoning, the dish doesnt compliment!

  4. the assistant or student needs to stop responding to everything he says with an answer or "yes chef" sometimes when someone is teaching he says rhetorical statements.  Sheesh.

  6. tsubasa123456789 It's not undercooked. It's al dente. This is typically how most starches like rice and noodles are supposed to be cooked.

  7. People are scared? Couple of hours ago I wasn't. I mean how hard can it be to make rice? Apparently it's freaking hard. No idea what I did wrong, but I never tasted anything so disgusting.

  9. Ciao gordon 🙂 sono italiano e nelle mie zone ..verona castel dario e isola della scala si cucina il risotto tradizionale. Risotto all isolana metodo ferro , risotto alla pilota ..sbranato risotto alla pilota col punte. Cioe' con sopra una cosina o una braciole. La confusione e' il condimento del risotto. Cioe': salamella o salsiccia? Per il risotto all isolana , c'è chi mette il tastasal cioe' carne di maiale macinata condita con sale pepe e cannella oppure chi mette meta' vitello e metà maiale rigorosamente tagliato fino col coltello. Il problema e' che sui ricettari c'è molta confusione. E mescolano le ricette o i condimenti sui due tipi di riso ben diversi. Infatti il riso all isolana e ' cremoso all'Onda e il riso alla pilota e' sbranato. Entrambi col riso vialone nano. Non carnaroli! Potresti riuscire a farmi un po di chiarezza? Sono ricette tradizionali quindi non da parere personale. Ma la confusione e' molta anche per noi del posto .anche per le nostre nonne

  10. This rice is f,,ing uncooked. eat this dish, then sit on the cooker for the rice to cook or else suffer from stomach ache for a day.

  11. If you want to keep the heat in you put the SHINY part of the tinfoil down. That's the part that reflects the infrared warmth back into the dish.

  12. Gordon's that hard ass chef, much like a Marine Corp Drill Instructor, that you respect after turning you into a better chef.

  14. No wonder this guy is where he is now. He's putting as much passion in a simple plate of risotto as he does in anything else.
