Enjoy watching you both. I make my chicken really close too your recipe. Love Melissa prints recipe that is so very convenient and easy to follow. Yummy thank you. Kris
I have leftover chicken thighs so I will definitely make this today! TFS 💕
If you're using the Lipton soup just for the very thin egg noodles, you might consider looking for fideo noodles in your Walmart or other grocery store's Hispanic section. Fideo noodles are those same very thin egg noodles without any additional seasonings like salt, and they're generally very inexpensive. Sometimes, you can find them in the section where you buy other dry pastas too. Just a thought! 🥣
Beautiful and amazing video
I’ve made a similar Chicken Noodle soup, so now I’m looking forward to trying this one. One thing I’ve done differently is to add a jar of Baby Food Carrots, it seems to add a bit more carrot flavor without causing an imbalance of carrot, onion, celery ratio.
Hi Melissa! Do the two of you know how many people that pot will serve. 10-12 I’m guessing. I make a spicy cracker that the family loves. I use saltines and Canola oil, ranch dressing packet, and red pepper flakes. Put the whole box of saltines into Tupperware (I have one that fits perfectly), pour the oil/seasoning mix over the crackers. Every 15 minutes turn them over. Do this for one hour and they are ready! Yummy. Love soup in the fall. Thanks Tom and Melissa
Looks delicious! I am going to try it.
That looks delicious 😋 I love Lipton pkgd type soups but wish they didn't have so much salt & MSG☹️.
I would add frozen peas or something green. Thx for all your delicious recipes 🙏💕

Hi my dear friend thanks so much for another great cooking video and some inspiration to get into the kitchen and make some wonderful meals for fall. Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful recipe you gave us today. Hugs and kisses from grandma Sandy and Debbie. See you in the next video my dear friend.
Oh yummy
There’s just something so comforting and homey about chicken noodle soup
Yummy
Oh yeah. The firecrackers would add a touch of heat not usually seen in chicken noodle soup. That’s a wonderful and tasty idea
Soups definitely are comfort foods, especially as the weather turns colder. Using the Lipton soup as part of the recipe is a great idea and time saver. Using products like the soup mix and the broth, or any convenience product, help me make what I "Semi-Homemade" meals. With so many more convenience foods available today why not use them? If they are good ones.. (Not all shortcuts are. Sadly, I've met a few, But most are great.) The idea is to cook smarter not harder, right?
We've been using packaged soup mixes for years. Every Thanksgiving I look forward to my homemade, or Semi-Homemade Turkey Vegetable Noodle Soup. I save all pieces of my turkey carcass, including leg and wing bones, and boil them for several hours with some onion, carrots and celery. These vegetables I will discard when the broth has developed flavor. I will remove the carcass and remove any meat that had been left on the bones. If bits of some dressing had remained in the cavity so much the better. That adds flavor too. After discarding the cooking veggies I will add new. The soup mix we used was Mrs. Grassly's Spring Vegetable soup mix. It contains no noodles so we bought a bag of thin noodles, not as small as those in your Lipton soup mix, and cooked them in the broth. This soup is so good it may be the 3rd best food of Thanksgiving in my book. Yes I like all of the sides and desserts and, funny, the turkey not so much except for the dressed up turkey sandwiches with left overs. For me the dressing is first and the homemade gravy using our homemade turkey stock is second, then the soup.
It is so frustrating, though, that both the soup mix and that particular noodle have been discontinued. I haven't been able to find them for several years now. I've had to make do with subs but it's not the same. If I'm lucky maybe I'll find it online this year (I better start looking now. LOL)
In one of your recipes there was a jarred product you have used for years that had been discontinued so you know my pain.
As for future videos if you have more soups you enjoy and recipes using Fall Flavors like apples, pumpkin, sweet potatoes (I saw and saved the video with the muffins), persimmons, butternut squash (I saw that one too) or acorn squash as ingredients combined with others in a casserole, for example. Even more Brussels sprouts recipes are some recipes I'd like to watch and get. Of course more holiday recipes are always good. Some good and creative recipes on how to use holiday leftovers would be extremely helpful. I have some but really good ones would be great. I turn to you because all of your recipes are stand out star recipes. Not that they are fancy or use super expensive ingredients more meant to impress than maybe add value to the recipe. No, you just give us good home cooked and enjoyed recipes. You haven't disappointed yet. We just need more. Thanks for keeping them coming.

Thank you for doing these!
Thanks for the recipe. Just a note that you need to update your instructions. You missed the last step which is to add noodles and simmer for 10 minutes.
Thanks x
