looks like tteok, traditional rice cake
Tho, tteok is kinda like saying ‘bread’ ;so maybe sweet-pumpkin based tteok with (what looks like)red-bean fillings?
and for historical/traditional context; Last Friday was Chu-seok(Korean Thanksgiving) so maybe they celebrated and gave out traditional food and stuff.

Looks like some kind of rice cake… makes sense it’s chuseok… possibly hobak flavored with ground sesame seed + honey filling?
