6 Chicken Thigh Fillets
1 Chorizo Sausage
Olive Oil
1 Red Capsicum (Bell Pepper)
1 1/3 Cups of Arborio Rice (Risotto Rice)
2 1/2 Cups of Liquid Chicken Stock
1/2 Cup of Dry White Wine
3 Teaspoons of Dried Oregano
400g Can of Diced Tomatoes
1 Cup of Frozen Peas
1/4 Cup of Freshly Chopped Parsley

  1. This is a great dish, but it is not a risotto recipe, Spanish paella. Don't get me wrong it's a wonderful recipe, but you should look up paella and jambalaya recipes. Risotto recipe is more of a process for releasing the starch by stirring to make a creamy dish.

  3. Made this just with tomata passata, risotto rice, chicken stock and chorizo with a handful of peas and it's delicious. Without the wine, peppers and herbs its still amazing and only about £1 per filling portion. Will definitely make again

  4. My first negative comment.. the way you handled & used the chicken in this dish was disgusting and close to unsanitary. That's just my opinion. Otherwise your a great home cook. I'd like to see you take yourself to the next level!

  5. One of the issues my husband has with risotto is not enough color and difference of textures. I think he will be pleased with this dish! I can’t wait to try this recipe!

  6. This is very similar as a Chinese dish called ”congee”, the only difference is congee add more more water and the rice type is difference also. But Both r yummy ;-P

  7. You don't make risotto the way you do. You haven't a clue. That's why it's awful. Never, ever do you add all the liquid in one go. Ever.
    That proves you haven't a clue .
    Go on YouTube and search how to cook a real risotto. !!
