I often go to Greece. I like been there a lot. The food in Greece is great! This is my interpretation of the famous Greek sweet Bougatsa! Super yummy, super crunchy crusts and semolina pudding inside!

Perfectly made custard pie! Looks so amazing! I would like to try this! Thank you for sharing!
Mmm… these are so creamy inside! A big thumbs up π
Is it not complete without butter?
I am Greek and thatβs not Bougatsa and if you decide to make this be sure to add a bunch of cinnamon on top with the powdered sugar
Good definitely yes.
But I just wondered isn't there another bougatsa recipe with a special cheese mixed into the custard also?
I just made it the custard is delicious
Looks amazing but i saw in a cooking show that Greeks use a traditionally made pastry-sheet. I would prefer that one just do not know how its composition

I cannot thank you enough for this recipe, exactly what I was looking for! I had this once in Greece a few years ago and it was the most delicious dessert I've ever had! I've been wanting to recreate it at home, but couldn't find an authentic recipe for the filling as I remembered it! You have a new loyal subscriber darling π
