I often go to Greece. I like been there a lot. The food in Greece is great! This is my interpretation of the famous Greek sweet Bougatsa! Super yummy, super crunchy crusts and semolina pudding inside!

Ingredients for 10 servings:

1 litre milk
4 eggs
1 cup of semolina (150 g)
200 g butter
10 sheets of filo pastry
200 g sugar
1 tsp vanilla sugar

  2. I am Greek and that’s not Bougatsa and if you decide to make this be sure to add a bunch of cinnamon on top with the powdered sugar

    But I just wondered isn't there another bougatsa recipe with a special cheese mixed into the custard also?

  4. Looks amazing but i saw in a cooking show that Greeks use a traditionally made pastry-sheet. I would prefer that one just do not know how its composition
