Fresh scallops paired with instant noodles – yay or nay

    Last night I got gifted some scallops, small but fresh off the boat and very sweet. Quick sear on both sides and finished it off with some butter.

    First time trying the Nongshim Neoguri, it was OK, not my favorite from Nongshim. I’ll try to make a proper ramen broth and eggs in the next day or two.

    Hmm. I initially thought I’ll prefer eating scallops as they are but I’m not gonna lie, that looks good! Maybe with a Jin Jjambbong?

    Nay for me, something like neoguri is too much for the delicate flavor of scallops. I’d keep them separate.

    I’m too lazy for scallops though. I just throw in an egg, some kimchi and some scallions and I’m in heaven.
