Grill up PERFECT bacon wrapped shrimp

The trick to grilling perfect bacon wrapped shrimp is using two-zone heat to get the bacon crisp without burning it.

It’s one of the MOST popular protein combos, and usually the first appetizer to disappear from the plate. The special union of bacon and shrimp is a treat that most folks just can’t resist. But the method that you use makes a huge difference to the enjoyment factor of the final result.

Floppy, limp bacon that’s falling away from the shrimp is NOT appealing. This method gets you perfectly crisp bacon that’s swaddled tightly around the shrimp, without burning.

  1. LOVE YOUR WORK JESS…
can you please make series about all sausages styles?
    Thank you from Syria!

  2. Thanks Jess ! These look delicious. Will definitely give them a try once I’m out of Stage 4 Lockdown and can travel more than 5km for food ! For now I’ll drool at these 🙌🙌

  3. I made some the other day and I used thick cut and only half a slice per shrimp… I liked your version more than the one I did.

  4. I'm beginning to question if you're really from Australia…I never once heard you say "shrimp on the barbie!" 🙂 These look amazing and will be giving them a try soon! Hopefully they are as good as the smoked meatloaf (which I've now convinced at least 5 folks to make).

  5. Thank you for the actual grill instructions, regarding indirect/indirect cook, temperature, and time. This is the first video out of 6 others I watched giving that information.

  6. I detected an (Austrailian?) accent here and there, then you used the term, "Y'all". So, are you an Aussie transplant to Texas?

  7. Wow that looks amazing and simple going to try it this weekend on the 4th of July with a group of 20 people and see how it goes thanks Jess

  8. Amazing! I am gonna do some for the Cowboys game tomorrow but thinking about stuffing with jalapeños and pepper jack cheese and then wrapping in the bacon prior to grilling.
