I had an awesome recipe and used to use this with eggs and rice. Does anyone know when the sriracha shortage will end? Is anyone aware of any places that could possibly have Sambal Oolek for an affordable price?

The stories of all these (assuming US) shortages are crazy! Sorry you guys are having such issues. Come for a holiday to AUS, have a great time and buy up whatever sauces you need for the trip home

Is Sambal Oelek still available in other countries? I thought I read that Huy Fong stopped producing it because of the pepper shortages and using all of them for Sriracha.

I’m in Canada, and we have had similar shortages all around. This summer I was able to track down a bunch of sriracha (6 bottles) at my local asian food store. Last month I picked up 6 bottles of sambal oelek from my local food superstore. It’s out there, but very much hit and miss. I think you just have to keep checking and sooner or later you will get it.
