First time eating there. My husband and I got the seafood curry, goat curry, garlic naan, cheesy jalapeno naan, fish pakora, mango lassi, and sweet lassi.

Everything was phenomenal. Fish pakora and mango lassi really stole the show. The fish came out piping hot and delightfully crispy. It came with dipping sauce which was good, but unnecessary as the batter was spiced perfectly on its own. Mango lassi tasted of fresh atulfo mangos.

My seafood curry was well-balanced. Lots of flavor but not a lot of heat. I wouldn’t have minded a touch spicier.

His goat curry was dark with a deeply umami gravy and the bone-in meat was nicely tender. Like the other curry, lots of flavor and just a hint of spice even though the menu indicated spicy.

Garlic naan was good, and the jalapeno naan was wonderful and not quite what I expected. There is a melty white cheese baked in the middle and they use fresh diced jalapenos so the flavor is bright and herbaceous rather than smoky or tart like I’d expect of canned or pickled jalapenos. No heat, just good flavor.

The sweet lassi was not overly sweet and would be a great compliment to any of the spicier dishes.

Will absolutely be adding this place to the regular rotation. Interested in trying some of the veg and paneer dishes next time!

If you like this, try Bombay to Katmandu.

Nepalese is my favorite South Asian regional food. Always good experiences at restaurants who describe themselves as Nepalese. Saffron is another good one.
