For the true tsukemen fans or anyone who loves tonkotsu and wish it was more rich then this is the ramen for you. This is much better and more authentic than what Ramen Tatsuya calls tsukemen. It is super rich with lots of pork and fish flavor. Stay away if you don’t like seafood. They are also making their own super thick noodles! I would say you should monitor instagram before going because their tsukemen specials tend to run out especially on Saturday.

For all those that complain how expensive it is, please take a look at how to make it yourself at home for $3.70. 1. Went and tried it this evening and it was a rare ramen512 miss. I’m pickier than most when it comes to tsukemen though.

Broth felt somewhat watered down in both texture and flavor. Which was super disappointing because the flavor itself was on point just muted. Noodles were great but weirdly cold. I know it’s not supposed to be hot but these felt chilled and it cooled down the broth way too fast. Chashu was also overcooked and dry and just an all around bummer.

I hate being this negative because I love the guys at ramen512 (the jiro special a few weeks ago was mindblowing) but it was just overall disappointing this time.
