Only a month since they opened, and everything went extremely smoothly. Usually, ambitious, new restaurants need a few months to iron out the kinks, but the baroo team seem to have it figured out already.

I’ve been eating at Kwang Uh’s restaurants since even before the JGold review that catapulted the original baroo into the limelight. Shiku was a fine endeavor, but you could always tell there was some maddening ambition and vision in him that needed to do more. The newest iteration of baroo seems to be those ideas manifest. I can’t wait to see how the restaurant develops and how the menus evolve.

Was just looking into this place today! What were your overall thoughts and did you feel the $110 pp was worth it?

Loved the old place, excited to try the new one but I feel like I’m gonna miss the super accessible-still-interesting/unique-food casual version

Wow, that last photo was a bit intimidating. What is the large green mass?

I have reservations for next Friday. I was considering going sooner, but I wanted to give them a chance to iron out any wrinkles in service. So I’m glad to read what you wrote.
I have been a baroo stan for a long time. I really want the baroo family to have much more success this time around.

Sure it tasted great but the plating leaves a lot to be desired.

Looks delicious but expensive. I may need to Baroo some money to pay the bill.

  9. Omg… Baroo is BACK?!?

Used to go there for lunch in the strip mall location. So excited to eat there again!
