This really is one of the weirdest things I have ever made. This pig’s head avgolemono soup is based on a traditional Greek recipe of that lemony-egg soup with rice. If you can’t find a roasted pig’s head LOL you can also use chicken or beef.

Hope you guys enjoy this video and if you have any questions, comments or suggestions, just give me a shout and I’ll get back ASAP!!!!!

Try this today and take your meals from ordinary to OPA!!!!!

Hope you all love it!!!!!

Cheers,
Ken

  1. You need to finish the sentence about the head. Now that's funny right there. I will never be able to use Pigs head again without bursting into laughter.

  2. Hi ken
    Thanks for your recipe
I m not sure about pigs head I think I will stick to chicken αυγολέμονο
    Thanks regards
    Betty 🇦🇺🇬🇷👌😊

  3. Rumor has it that my grandfather 🇬🇷 used to make goats head soup. I never saw it, but that is what my mother said. But I did get to partake to his homemade wine. Guess I'm lucky. 😎😂😂😂

  4. I love how you laughed about Wilber! Hahaha! Getting head~😂 😂 😂 😂 I love avgolemono. We don't utilize pork like other ethnicities do. Pork broth is delicious!

  5. PS: are you making headcheese too? Or is it too "cooked" My friend's dad way back in high school, made headcheese every year. You couldn't pay me to eat it, but the sight of that head in a pot, 😂.

  6. Im Filipino here in Philippines we used to make pig head and legs soup when we have a left over roast pig in the party and we put tamarind for sour soup we called sinigang roast pig and legs. Its so yummy full of collagen.👍👍👍😘😋 Yummy!!!😋

  7. Good funny video. I’m not a big pork head person but I watch the whole thing. Did you say August ? I was wondering when you’re going to get your self down to Greece for the oil.

  8. Now that is how you use your head!
Really like the construction of this soup, might be a challenge to get me a roasted pig head, but I'll surely make a version of this.
    Thanks man!

  9. It all tastes the same lol…love your blue shirt lol…we use it here in Texas to make tamales ❣🇬🇷❣🇬🇷

  10. Ken my croatian austrian mom loved your recipe…Pork head soup, yummy! Not so fast lady!! I still remenerber when i was a kid and she made me eat miscellaneous animal parts that are a big no no for my current quality standards. I've gotta say though, the my whole family escaped WW2 and before they did, any meat or animal part meant protein..That's how they manage to survive, with wine and hard liquor to help digestion. Having said that, I still dont like your soup Haha. I prefer you roasting stuff.

  11. Never had pigs head soup as a Greek kid….now an adult but my mom would make goats head soup whenever my dad brought one home from the Greek butcher shop. I'm sure my dad would love this one too.
