My grandparents on my mother's side hate me because I'm gay and my grandparents and my dad side died before I turn 8 years old, so I never got that much of a grandparent experience
Is it the starch from the potatoes that makes the eggs 'drop'? Usually it's done with corn starch, but potato starch must be fine too. Never thought of that.
When our family business went belly up in the 1970's, I was more than thankful to have dinners like the ones you make. There is nothing worse than going to bed hungry.

This my first time ever seeing this gentle soul.Its May 13th, 2023 and this lady died in 2013 over 10yrs ago with a Youtube channel that will keep her memory.Youtube is something else.Just imagine if she died in 1950's she only as a memory of her image on pictures taken in her younger years.She on YouTube and the world will know who she is that wouldn't of been possible back in her days.
Sadly women’s liberation looked down on the likes of Clara. They believe the role of a housewife is demeaning. It can be further from the truth. The role goes full circle. Nest for your loved ones gives you a feeling of love and accomplishment. There’s something about keeping your family alive, health and happy.
This isn’t egg drop soup. Egg drop soup is an Asian dish. This has potatoes, cheese, and bread, so it’s not egg drop soup. It’s cheesy potato soup served over toast
I’m not sure who monitors this channel, but I watched years ago and started missing her again recently. I learned so much back then and I miss her. You are lucky to have had her in your life. Feels great watching her videos again years later. I miss you Mrs. Clara ❤.
I remember my mom used to cook potatoes and onions with a bit of ground beef in this type of watery broth. Another recipe was potatoes and onions with an egg sauce on top. Its amazing what you can do with eggs and potatoes.
Her knife skills are so different than my own. My grandma has the exact same style and i never could get the hang of it. I chock it up to them using dull knives and me taking influence from all these high level chefs online and trying to be like them
Oh I miss my gram. I'm lucky to have her in my life when I was married and had my own daughter. She died at age 99 in 2020 but I am Happy I got a whole bunch of her recipes. Watching Miss Clara gives me joy n peace and reminds me of my sweet gram just like Miss Clara. God bless you for making these videos !!! She must be cooking with my little gram in heaven.
