  1. 🎖sgt Gilbert for your unselfish devotion to duty I hereby award you the distinguished service award.

  2. Never seen Munster cheese that looked like that. Ours here comes in a small wheel like a camembert or brie. I wonder if its the same.

  3. Do the very same thing, but crack some of Sgt Gilbert into that cheese and tell me again. It is INSANE with a good grilled cheese sandwich

  4. This is what happens when you commit senseless violence everyday. Eventually it catches up, and often effects friends and loved ones rather than the individual committing the violence… like it did here.

  5. Always wondered how Gilbert got his battle scar. All seriousness, it's probably good, but I'm just not a fan of the fried Parmigiano-Reggiano idea.

  6. Thank you for your service sergeant Gilbert, you will forever be remembered! Your children Mrs. Pepper Mill and Mrs. Salt Grinder shall carry on your legacy

  7. R.I.P. Sgt. Gilbert
Thing about Havarti, which I noticed is on your list, is that it melts fine but it's very stringy in that state, so if you don't swallow the whole mouthful at once part of it goes down and part is still in your mouth, connected by a stretchy stringy bit through your throat that makes you wonder if you're gonna inhale it. I don't recommend it for grilled cheese sandwiches.

  8. A little wood glues and some rubber bands ,left on over night and Gilbert will be solid and ready to go.just wipe away excess glue with a damp paper towel

  9. I made this recipe tonight and everybody loved it. Definitely a recipe I’m going to pass along to family and friends. The parmigiano Reggiano and Gruyère crust on the outside was a great idea. I love the cheese pull. Also, remember to use unsalted butter. Thank you Sonny for another great and yummy recipe!

  10. That's a $10 grilled cheese! I use whatever bread and cheese I have, and then "butter" the bread with 🥓 bacon grease. It's cheap and tastes amazing.

  11. My Grilled cheese is the champ. Ok lissen.. First u toast your 2 breads slightly and then u butter them and put them in a frying pan and sear them more brown on both sides… then you put cheese between them and cheese on the top and then put the sandwish in the owen with broiler topheat and too top it off u grill som cheese soo it get crispy in the owen on the steelplate at the same time u grilled your sandwish and put some chiliflakes and black pepper 😉 on it ans strizzel cheesechips on it
