First time user/order from Hello Fresh. I was pulling out the ingredients to make the zucchini and tomato flatbreads. As I’m going to recycle the packaging, a singular garlic clove comes flying out of the bag. My question is, is it normal for the garlic to come unpackaged and in less quantity than the recipe calls for? This felt off to me, but I wasn’t sure since I haven’t ordered with them before.

Yes, especially with garlic cloves. They don’t put them in any extra packaging. Sometimes it will call for 1 and I won’t get it. I always have garlic at home so it’s not an issue thankfully.

Yes. I always keep extra garlic at home and use it.

In America it apparently is. In the rest of the world if there’s garlic in your recipes you’ll get a head of garlic.
