  1. White Gravy is amazing. American's took a classic French sauce and managed to make it better.

  2. Well that's a cool way in making country gravy I guess but my great grandma and Grandma told me the real country gravy is made from the fat of sausage or bacon normally she would cut the sausage in the pan so that way we can have sausage pieces crumbled up in the gravy when it was done and some pieces of sausage to eat while we ate biscuits but that's how she taught me 3 tbsp of meat drippings 3 tablespoons of flour to cups of milk but normally I do four or five things of Greece five things of flour and put more milk in it depending on how thick I wanted to be but I will say there have been times that I didn't have any meat drippings like grease from a sausage or bacon computer use this recipe the recipe where you use butter instead of meat drippings seems like it would be pretty good anyway thanks for the video I always forgot how long the cook my roof or before I started the gravy that's what I got on here to see because last time I made it I messed up and made the Rue right away and then soon as it started to take and put my milk in and it had that floury taste to it I'll make sure that's corrected this time

  3. I am kind of angry no one has ever told me how simple it is to make gravy. Thank you for sharing

  4. This video really blessed me this morning.
I'm looking for easy ways to make breakfast other than cereal 🙄

My children are growing into preteens and boy can they eat. I will give this a try today!! Thanks for making it look so easy

P.S. I do make my own biscuits the store bought ones have way too many preservatives and other processors that are banned in other countries

    Thanks again! Love your accent😅

  5. This would go wonderfully with cream biscuits! Just get 2 cups Self-Rising Flour, 1.5 cups chilled Heavy Cream and mix. Roll out your dough, cut your biscuits, bake at 500 degrees for 10-11 minutes, yu've got the best biscuits ever!😋

  6. It's just me tonight at my house. I am definitely going to make biscuits and gravy for my little Sunday dinner tonight. Thank you for the easy recipe for the gravy. Have a great Sunday! Bless you. 🤍

  7. Wow I had no idea we're just eating milk butter and flower lol Thanks so much its way easier than I thought it was

  8. Im 30 and I’ve only just learned that “country gravy” all the Americans go on about is just bechamel.

  9. I kept all the bacon fat in a jar from last winter and spring.. ok so I just cook some flour in the bacon fat and then add some whole milk and with whole milk you don't even have to bring it to a boil and it'll thicken up. Pepper. Bacon fat already has salt. Oh and I rarely make biscuits. I can but I prefer bread. *Blood work twice a year and no I really don't have a cholesterol problem. Some people are lucky. I watched a man who was 83 years old work like a 40 year old and smoked a pack or more every day and drank his supper. He died of old age in a nursing home. Terrible way to go if you ask me.
