I have been ordering HF on and off for the past 6 years, and have alternated with BA for the last 2-3. I have noticed a decline in quality of produce and proteins since they have expanded their menu options which led me to skip more often than not. On top of that, these upgrades/upcharges have become borderline ridiculous. They used to offer a few gourmet and premium selections for an additional fee and now it seems half the menu costs extra. Why do the two I posted cost extra? The ‘Fast & Fresh’ tag? There are zero special ingredients in these meals, and it actually seems like you are getting less for more money. I’m wondering if it’s time to cancel all together or continue to browse and skip every week as I have been. Anyone else feeling put off by all the crazy extra charges for nothing explicitly special?

I just cancel and resubscribe with promotional codes to keep the costs low. I eat super cheap for the 3 days I am at work, so whatever premium I pay for the boxes is offset by my other days cheap meals.
I agree the last 3 orders I received have been of poor quality. And they didn’t hold up to the rewards or gifts. Kind of disappointed.
Given it’s under the Fast & Fresh label, I assume it’s because they have to do some things to make it quick and easy for the customer
