Which do you prefer this or Burnt Basque? I've made the b.B. three times and it's delicious. The outside edge is the best part with the butter browned crust.
Thank you so much for this! I just tried this recipe and loved the cheesecake. The only thing I changed was I used 2 eggs instead of 4 and adjusted the sugar accordingly. No cracks and taste was just awesome!
"i'm always amazed when i see people buying this frozen in the store" i tried to make it once it took hours and i had a mussle injury in my back afterwards lmao going into this video my policy is "no one sane would make it themselves" when i tried getting the cracker crumbs and butter incorperated was about the hardest thing i've ever done

And I've only been baking for about a week lol but I was making ur cheese cake with the buttermilk and I accidently put a whole stick of butter in your recipe…..honestly it wasn't bad had no cracks and was the denses cheesecake I've ever had. Would love your thought. Lmfao

Sorry, John, but I got you beat on this one. But, to be fair, the New York Cheesecake recipe I have cost the chef I got it from some serious money. Two things: No milk (cream), and water bath. 🙂

You can also make a crust with ground pecans cinnamon butter and gram cracker in place of the white sugar I use maple syrup sugar🙌🏻

don't leave it with the door closed, mine cracked. Leave the door cracked and little while it cools in the oven.

I can't find sour cream anywhere in my country. It just isn't a thing where I live. Can I use greek yoghurt instead?
