  1. Guga!! It's been a while since youve done ribs! Try Smoking the rib, and finishing it in a nice charcoal fire! Yes, FIRE! After I put BBQ on the ribs towards the end, I caramelized the sauce in the flames of a charcoal grill by dousing it with olive oil when the ribs are over it! MONEY. You're welcome 😉

  3. No way Philly does it right! Putting fake cheese on great steak is not great!
    Philly is overrated in this area – come to Beverly MA and taste a real steak and cheese with all it has to offer!

  4. Never had pats or genos but, you can tell just by looking at those subs that they're both just ok. I'm gonna trust and believe everyone that says there's WAY BETTER philly steak places in Philly than both pats and genos combined. And of course Gugas food looks like it slaps. 😋

I check out your cheesesteak contest you're right about one thing you have to find your own cheesecake place to eat but Philadelphia cheesecake the main agreement of the Tuesday is amarosa bread Number 2 cheese American yellow cheese So when you ever get a chance you can order Armarosa bread from Philadelphia They ship all over the world now that tell you how good I'm a roast of bread is I'm out of Philadelphia

  8. Little sarcasm don’t take it offensive please if you would’ve cut it through a meat slicer, you wouldn’t have to cut it into little chunks. It would’ve been paper thin. Don’t know if it would work but I’m gonna try it will freeze my steak and I will pray I will let you know.

  9. It’s not pats in Philly we put the meat slices on grill they chop the meat when it’s half cooked

  10. I drove through Pennsylvania about 3 months ago. All the food I had was absolutely trash. 😢 then I got to Denver for a Broncos game and ordered a Philly cheesesteak. It didn’t even have cheese…. Two opposite ends of the country, two terrible Philly cheesesteaks.

    It's not the quality of meat that is the issue. Cheese steaks cook the meat to death anyway. It's about the bread, allowing the onion and pepper juice to season the steak (no extra seasoning outside of salt and pepper), and….did I mention the bread? Can't use a French roll. Pats and Geno's are tourist traps. They are fine. But the real goats are Dalisandros and Mama's.

    But French rolls? C'mon dude. GTFO here.

  13. I’ve had a lot of Phillies all over the country.

    A perfect Philly for me has sautéed onion and fresh bell peppers, mushrooms, & cheese. AND THAT IS IT!!!!

    NO MAYO, NO KETCHUP, NO TOMATO and absolutely NO SWEET PEPPERS. I don’t think these things belong on a philly but I have had them come with these things. I will eat it with these things, don’t get me wrong but the one thing that ruins it is the sweet peppers. The sweetness instantly ruins it for me. It’s like putting miracle whip on a sandwich and calling it mayonnaise. You have to be extra extra careful of that in the south. I hate miracle whip!!!!

  14. Pats and Genos are the fast food versions of cheesesteaks like mcdonalds and burger king. They are a tourist trap now. When yo come to Philly there are 100s of better places.

  15. I like my cheese steak sandwiches with provolone cheese and peppers, not sure if it would be called a philly

  16. Guga, I think the reason they don't season the steak until after is because the meat is sliced so thin, that if you season it beforehand, the salt will draw out the moisture and dry out the meat. At least that's what I was told from a Philly native.
