First off, I did not order this box, secondly, the last time I ordered hellofresh I had an old credit card which would have expired in september if this year. How the hell did hellofresh randomly start up again and charge my NEW debit card??

    I think that your bank communicates with some vendors that have your cards on file. Especially subscription services. Same happened to me when I lost my card and had to replace. I was like “cool. I don’t have to skip some subs this month. I’ll just update payment when I’m ready”

    NOPE. All the charges hit at once for my HF, Fabletics, and some vitamins

    Also- HF automatically selects meals for you and will deliver them as the weeks pass. You have to actively skip weeks OR call them up to cancel all together.

    Subscription services get an “authorised pass” from the bank that authorises them to take those charges on the subscription basis. So even if your card expires and you get a new one, that bank “pass” stays the same for the sub. You need to contact the bank to cancel those subscription payment passes that they’ve issued. And contact HelloFresh to close your account.

    Also people keep saying they “did not order the box” but it clearly is set up to choose your meals for you. Yes you can change them but if you don’t change them, pause, or cancel them then they are sending the pre selected
