I had company over on Sunday and made cheesy pesto bites. I only had enough filling ingredients to use two thirds of the dough. The remaining third of the dough has been refrigerated for two days and figured I would throw together sticky buns. Rather than slicing the rolled dough into small buns I coiled the rolled dough to make one giant sticky bun instead. I did not measure the topping ingredients, but threw into my smallest Pyrex dish the ingredients from the recipe: melted butter, brown sugar, white sugar, dark corn starch, water, toasted pecans, and a pinch of salt. And since I had an opened container of heavy whipping cream, I threw some of that in there as well. It took either 45 or 55 minutes to bake. (I lost track of the total time it took to reach the right internal temperature.) I am shocked that this thrown together dessert actually worked. 😂😂😂

And looks delicious
Lol I’d eat that whole thing and say I only had one. Looks so yummy, and I think has inspired me to do a giant cinnamon roll for my SO’s birthday. He likes cinnamon rolls more than cake.
I love you, Giant Sticky Bun ❤
Now I want a giant sticky bun 🙃
