A few days ago, a user made a thread (now removed by mods) noting that Hellofresh sent product even when a transaction wasn’t properly charged: [https://www.reddit.com/r/hellofresh/comments/173rw76/why\_do\_they\_even\_bother\_getting\_collections\_to/](https://www.reddit.com/r/hellofresh/comments/173rw76/why_do_they_even_bother_getting_collections_to/)

Today, another user noted that even with improper payment information, a transaction will be completed by HelloFresh: [https://www.reddit.com/r/hellofresh/comments/1757184/charged\_on\_an\_expired\_card/](https://www.reddit.com/r/hellofresh/comments/1757184/charged_on_an_expired_card/)

That reminded me that the EXACT SAME THING happened to me. I needed to replace a credit card, and Hellofresh kept attempting to charge the expired card. We noticed randomly one day, it looked like the company didn’t even notice.

Hellofresh does not confirm if payment information is proper.

So here’s an experiment someone can try. **Sign up someone else, enter in fake payment information, and see if the product is sent to this address**.

Some on this sub have noted that they will receive random boxes at their doorstep, despite never signing up for Hellofresh. Yet others note that boxes that SHOULD have been delivered to them were sent elsewhere, sometimes across the country. The Better Business Bureau has received a high volume of complaints about the company’s aggressive and shady business practices, which seem to be the cause of this phenomenon: [https://www.bbb.org/us/ny/new-york/profile/food-delivery/hellofresh-0121-142623](https://www.bbb.org/us/ny/new-york/profile/food-delivery/hellofresh-0121-142623)

So it looks like we can easily retaliate against an individual, or a business, by signing them up for Hellofresh.

Do you really have nothing better to do, than post this crazy nonsense? For the record, so it’s clear, I’ve reported you to the mods for spamming the sub with these crazy conspiracy theories, and for encouraging what essentially would be mail fraud.

I wish I had as much time as you to whinge about blanched peas 🥲 You’d whinge if they didn’t send you a box. I can see the subject now, ‘There was definitely money in my account!!!! 😡’
